Linked base director was set but pdf files not go to that folder

Hi guys,

I set base directory folder in Advanced preferences already. Before yesterday, everything was smooth and Zotero did it job as expected. However, I have no idea why the pdf file is stored in Data Directory Location default folder, which I dont want it to be like that. So now I have to go to that default folder and move the file to base directory folder :( took me hours to do so...

The reason why I want files to be added to base directory folder is because I want to use it for Obsidian convenience.

Could you please advise me what I should do now?

    Sorry, I resolved it. I just closed the Zotero and Obsidian, then restarted the computer :D

    All back to normal again.

    Just to clarify, the base directory doesn't determine where things get saved — Zotero always saves stored files to the data directory. It's the ZotFile plugin that converts saved files to linked files.

    Yes, sorry for making it not right in my reply. It is Zotfile plugin in Obsidian.
