Page number gets changed from 190 to 90 in the Chicago Manual of Style

In the Zotero main client I enter the page range "180-190" on a book section, but in the bibliography it is shown as "180-90". In the style preview for the same source, some styles show the full range ("180-190") and the style I need to use shows "180-90".

What do I need to change so that the "1" isn't dropped? Thanks!

Using:

Windows 10
Chrome used with Zotero addon
Microsoft Word for Office 365

That's the format that the Chicago manual calls for. If you are intending to follow Chicago style, I recommend you keep the number formatting as is. Otherwise that would involve editing the citation style code to change the page range format.

Thanks for replying! That's bad for me though, since a page range of "122-23" is not really admissable. I can't really use a double dash since that's noticeable and I don't want to manually edit every citation. Do you maybe have any tips for a workaround?

It says to use the Chicago Manual of Style and I need the numbers to appear the way I type them in the "Page" field.

I would inquire about this with the group that put together that site. They very explicitly tell you to follow the Chicago Manual of Style and the Manual, in turn, very explicity recommends shortening page numer.
You can see this on multiple examples here:
https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide/citation-guide-1.html (freely accessible) and it's described in detail in the section 14.148 (for footnotes) and 15.23 (for author-date) of the manual.

If they tell you to not follow the Manual in the specific respect, we can tell you how to modify the style, but it seems odd, and frankly unecessary, to do so.

I have the same problem as @Lesson. My professor wants me to quote in-text like that: (Author year, 132-135) which is why I use Chicago 17th (author-date).
But I would really like to know how to change the style so that the 1 isn't dropped.
I also would like to change the hyphen, because as it is it's longer than a normal hyphen.
I hope one can understand what I mean.

Reiterating that this is correct CMoS style, this can be changed by changing the page-range-format. See https://docs.citationstyles.org/en/stable/specification.html#appendix-v-page-range-formats

AMA has a normal dash as a page-range-delimiter. See here how it's implemented:

Thank you very much for the fast answer. Unfortunalty I'm a total beginner at Zotero and have only a very limited understanding of how to edit styles.
I just tried to find a dash as a delimiter anywhere in the code and wasn't able to do so.
Also I do not understand how and where to change the page-range-format in the code

The general instructions are there. All you need to do is follow the steps.

Search the code of the AMA style I linked for page-range-format and you'll see the part that makes it happen. You'd need to emulate that then.

Thanks again! I found out where to change the page-range-format so that the first digit isn't dropped. I am so happy about that!
The last thing I do not understand is how to change the dash. Can you copy the part that makes it happen and post it here, so I can search for it?
