Getting the following error after downloading the beta desktop version:

"Zotero-File-Modification-Time header not set in file request for 1/P3SPVG4J"

It pops up when I try to open a pdf
  • Any other instructions for reverting to the old version of Zotero? This is not clear:

If for some reason you don't want to or are not able to install the latest version, you can restore the pre-upgrade database backup that Zotero stored in your Zotero data directory. Look for the zotero.sqlite.*.bak file with the highest number (e.g., zotero.sqlite.77.bak). Close Zotero, move your existing zotero.sqlite file out of the way, and then copy the numbered backup file into place as zotero.sqlite. Then restart Zotero.

Assuming this is an institutional network, this would be your IT department intercepting and breaking Zotero's file sync requests, not a problem in Zotero itself. It wouldn't have anything to do with the version of Zotero. It's just Zotero trying to download a file and getting a response that's different from what the actual Zotero servers return.

If you provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for an attempt to open a file that causes this, we may be able to tell you more, but ultimately this is going to be something that has to be fixed on your network.
