【mac】cannot edit item information

Hi
When I add a new item, i cannot edit because nothing pops up. And when I click the existing items, if it is a webpage, zotero directs me to that page immediately so that I cannot edit the information either.

And I just updated to the beta version.

Please kindly advise.
