Upgrade StorageIssues using Zotero bookmarklet with Brave since update 27th May 2021
My version of Brave has stopped allowing me to download references to my desktop Zotero folder.
Usually I first change Brave settings to "shields down" then save the webpage/citation using the bookmarklet - this worked perfectly until this morning (28th May 2021).
I now get an error message (along the lines of "Can't save page, trying to save as webpage... OK can't save as webpage either, check help").
What I have done:
Rebooted everything
Ensured I'm logged into Zotero sync account (never usually necessary)
Ensured I am using the most up to date version of Brave: release 1.25.68 May 27th 2021.
Checked functionality of bookmarklet in Opera - where it continues to work perfectly, saves citations as usual.
Given the timing of this new issue, I wonder if this is as a result of changes with the new Brave release. Anyone else using Brave had this problem?

adomasven Zotero TeamYou can use the Zotero Connector for Chrome with Brave. We don't provide support for the bookmarklet anymore as the web's continuous move to improve user security and privacy makes implementing reliable saving via a bookmarklet very difficult.

ShaySoremekunThanks - I wasn't aware of this. Connector now works well, indeed seems like the bookmarklet is no longer supported since yesterday's Brave update.
