[WONT FIX] Support for Office 365 online

My school is providing me OneDrive for business in the form of an URL of type

https://[MYSCHOOL]365-my.sharepoint.com/personal/[MYID]_[MYSCHOOL]_[MYCOUNTRY]/_layouts/15/onedrive.aspx

There I can upload Microsoft Word files, then click on the vertical arrows and Open -> Open in browser.

The file will be opened in Word Online.

Does Zotero support or will support Word Online?

It would be really useful

    Zotero does not support Word Online due to technical limitations. You can however edit files from OneDrive with the desktop version of Word.

    I have Linux so no desktop version of Word on the penguin

    LibreOffice or Google Drive is how most Linux users work with Zotero.

    In fact I'm using Google Docs now :)

    Also as a reference, Softmaker Office has a plugin for Zotero too.

    The "problem" is that none of those 3 are fully compatible with Microsoft Word.

    I am perfectly fine with that but I need compatibility for work related issues.

    The only perfectly compatible one is WPS Office but it has no plugin for Zotero.

    You might consider asking the WPS developers to build a Zotero plugin like Softmaker has. I know that several Chinese users have asked for that over the years. More requests might push them to do so.
