Will not place footnote, inserts after text instead

I am working on a paper in Chicago style footnotes. Everything was working fine. With the latest citation instead of inserting the footnote like normal, it placed the citation information right where I wanted the footnote, instead of formatting it as a footnote.

Does that make sense?

Can anyone help me make this into a footnote. I have checked citation style and we are still in Chicago footnote.

Please help.

    What's the full version number of Word? Does it work well in a new document? Could you submit a Report ID?

    You can work around it by inserting the footnote manually via Word and the inserting the Zotero citation, but generally Zotero shouldn't fail like this.
