add bibliography not working

I have used Zotero with the Microsoft word plugin for years without problems. On multiple devices today, I cannot add a bibliography. A menu to edit bibliography comes up instead. I am still able to add/edit citations without a problem. Would appreciate any help!

    That sounds like a bibligraphy is already in the document, though may be hidden. Quickest way to find it would probably to add a random item to it using add-edit bibliography. I'd then expect it to show up and allow you to fully deleted it (with a couple of lines at the top & bottom to be extra safe.

    If that doesn't work, showing field codes would be another way to find an "invisible" bibliography i.e. reverse of what's described here https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/word_field_codes
