Saving Manifold publications as chapters

What would need to happen for material published online using Manifold (https://manifoldapp.org/), for example Debates in the Digital Humanities 2016 (https://dhdebates.gc.cuny.edu/projects/debates-in-the-digital-humanities-2016) to be readable by Zotero as a chapter or article, rather than a web page?
I'm assuming it's something they'd need to add in the app?

    See https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/exposing_metadata -- COinS would be a quick & easy way to do this. Embedded metadata could work, too, but the standards for book chapters aren't terribly well defined there.

    In other cases we can write custom translators (i.e. scrape the data with a custom script), but since manifold allows publishing on any sort of URL (typically the scripts are restricted to a specific domain or URL pattern), that's not going to work very well.
