Shortened version of organisation in text

I am using Harvard Cite Them Right. Can someone explain how I can have a shorted version of an organisation in text but the full name in the reference list? eg (GOI, 2012) GOI (Government of Ireland) ........
  • You can't, at least not exactly like that. In many cases, it makes sense to use the abbreviation as the author and the full form as the publisher/institution.

You're not the first person to ask about/request this, so there's a good chance it'll eventually happen, but not super soon.

CSL 1.1 implements this, so it is likely to become possible in the next few years
  • Thanks for the prompt response to my query.
