folders at Zotero base directory

Hi all,

Is there a way in which folders created in zotero base directory can be reflected in zotero application? Or vice versa? Basically, I am trying to find a way in which folders in the base directory and the zotero app will be the same and synced as folders. Hope this makes sense/

    I assume you mean the 'storage' folder of the data directory, not the Linked Attachment Base Directory?

    I'm not really understanding what you're trying to accomplish, but the eight-character folder names in 'storage' correspond to attachment item keys, and you can find the attachments by pasting the item key into the Zotero search bar in All Fields & Tags mode. From within Zotero, you can obviously do right-click → Show File.

    No, the opposite. I mean the linked attachment base directory. What I want to do is have sub-folders within there, which will also correspond to sub-folders within the app. Can I do that?

    ZotFile can be set up to represent Zotero collections, yes: www.zotfile.com
