Linked file separates from Reference

Hello, I am storing files in Google Drive and using Zotfile to link them. When I open a linked file from Zotero, the file sometimes disappears and then it reappears but as a separate entry rather than being attached to its reference.

    That sounds like you're just accidentally dragging the child item and turning it into a parent item.
