Help with citation style

I searched through the citation style base and found one (out of over 2000) that matches the requirements my college has for the master thesis. There is just one problem and even though I really tried to fix it by myself, I just can´t (I read the different forum entries on that topic)
I´m using the https://www.zotero.org/styles/steinbeis-hochschule-school-of-management-and-innovation style and it´s doing the ibid thing when citing the same source again.
Could you please tell me what to delete or turn off that it will not use the ibid style?
And how do I change the wording that instead of et al it will say u.a. (in German)?

Thank you so much in advance!!

Regards
  • For ibid: Delete
    <choose>
    <if position="ibid-with-locator" match="any">
    <group delimiter=", ">
    <text term="ibid"/>
    <text macro="locators"/>
    </group>
    </if>
    <else-if position="ibid">
    <text term="ibid"/>
    </else-if>
    <else>

    And then a bit further down
    </else>
    </choose>
    right before

    </layout>
    </citation>

    For et-al/u.a. delete this row:
    <term name="et-al">et al.</term>

    General guidelines are here:
    https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step
    especially note the part about new title/id
  • Thank you so much!!

    I just tried it out and it works!!

    The et-al I changed to u.a. in the mentioned row instead of deleting it.
  • Hi!

    I´m facing a new problem. In the bibliography overview the publisher is missing. Could someone please tell me what code sequenz I have to insert and where?

    Regards!!!
  • That's handled by the publisher macro.
    You'd need to add the variable "publisher".
  • Hi! I have really no clue how to do this.
    Could you please write me the sequence and the point where to put it in (like adamsmith did it).

    Regards
  • So, when I had students in my lab I always wanted them to try things first and then ask, rather than being spoonfed things. ;)

    Happy to help, but I appreciate a bit of effort from your side, too.

    To put this in more plain text:
    The style has a variety of macros. One of them is called publisher. As this macro already prints out the publisher-place, you can use that as guidance to how make the "publisher" macro show up, too.
