Export Library in CSV Format
Hello, I recently exported my library in CSV format and am curious about the first column variable, "Key". Is this assumingely unique identifier created/provider by Zotero?
If so, would it would acceptable to leave the cell empty if I were creating my our CSV-formatted references to later import to Zotero? (I'd like to ultimately convert my CSV to RIS and then import to Zotero)

adamsmithYes, this is a Zotero-generated unique identifier and it's not used in any import format, so you can safely deleted it. Note that export/import has a number of downsides -- it breaks links to existing Word documents, introduces duplicates in syncing, and in the case of RIS import, also will lose some information.
