Editing Zotero citations in-line
Hi all, I am switching over from EndNote, and wondering how to easily edit Zotero citations in-line? In EndNote, you can directly edit the unformatted citation in a particular way, such that when it is formatted for a particular reference style, the citation will show up correctly in the formatted document. Is there a way to do this in Zotero? Examples of what I am trying to do are below:
e.g., rather than citing works as (Johnson 2021) and (Benson 2020)
How to cite as "...as demonstrated by Johnson (2021)"
or adding text like "...(Johnson 2021; see also Benson 2020)
or "...(see Johnson 2021 for further details)"
or "...(Benson 2020, but see Johnson 2021 for an alternative viewpoint)"
Any help appreciated!
