Zotero 5.0.95.3 does not run under MacOs 10.13.6

Since Zotero updated today to Zotero 5.0.95.3 it does not start any longer, resp. the starting process hang and Zotero does not respond any more.

Reinstalling a fresh version (5.0.95.3) from Zotero homepage does not fix the problem.

Thanks for any help. Even reinstalling 5.0.95 from my backup does not fix the problem.

Philip

  • Could you start Zotero with debug logging in the terminal window, run it until it crashes, then copy the terminal output, paste it on pastebin.com or similar and send a link to the output to support@zotero.org?
  • Thanx for the Answer. In the meantime – sorry I was under pressure – I could fix the problem: I deletetd [user]/Library/Preferences/org.zotero.zotero.plist

Zotero rebuilds the .plist when starting and since then runs again.

    Greetings
