Upgrade StorageEndnote -> Zotero, PDF-Files are imported in one folder without connection to source

We made an export from Endnote (XML), import to Zotero.
We find the items, but without the PDF-Files.
They are imported in one folder, but without connection to the items.
Do we have to place them manually to the single items?
or did something go wrong with the import?
