zbib.org: More informative error message for invalid DOIs
A colleague was just trying to enter this text into zbib.org:
Edwards, J. R., & Bagozzi, R. P. (2000). On the nature and direction of relationships between constructs and measures. Psychological Methods, 5(2). https://doi.org/10.1037/1082-989X.5.2
They got the error message "An error occurred while citing this source." The error is because the DOI is wrong. It should be: 10.1037/1082-989X.5.2.155
Could a more informative error message be given in this case indicating the problem is the incorrect DOI?

bwiernikAfter I correct the DOI, it still returns an error. The error resolves if I give just the DOI. I recall zbib used to work if I pasted a whole reference like this.

dstillmanThe full string works for me with the correct DOI. AWS was having some trouble today that caused some intermittent failures on ZoteroBib.
