Bluebook Formatting - italicize

I have a problem with how zotero does Bluebook Law Review style formatting. Certain fields are supposed to be italicized in the bluebook citation style. It is not doing that. I can't find a preference option to change it. I really don't want to have to go through every single footnote and manually change the formatting.

I have the latest zotero and zutilio's downloaded. I am not a programmer, so I don't think I would be much good at anything super technical with the code. Can anyone help me?
  • If you are doing legal citations, I suggest using Jurism, a version of Zotero with much expanded legal citation support. It’s Indigo Book style is compatible with the Bluebook.

  • Thank you, that's really helpful. I'm downloading now.
  • @bwiernik do you know of any way to add an "internet source" or "website" to the list of source categories? I tried making do with "document" but it uses a different format.
  • The best way to add a website (or most items really) is to go to the website in your browser and click the Save to Zotero button in the browser toolbar. That is much better than entering manually (which is why website isn’t an option in the manual list).

If you do want to add a website item manually (again, you should almost never have to do that), add a different type, then click the item type at the top of the right pane and choose Web Page from the dropdown menu.
  • That worked great! Thanks.
