New Web Library not displaying items (on main page and some collections) and error messages

The "New Web Library Beta" display usually works well, but for one group library it stays blank with several messages on the right hand corner ("Error
Unable to communicate with Zotero server. Please check your connection."). It is allright though when we click on some of the collections: why is it not always working ?

Is this a bug of the New Web Library and is there something to know to get rid of these error messages and get a proper display of items ?

There is no problem when we revert to the Old Web Library.
  • There is also another kind of error message displaying : "Received error from Zotero server: An error occurred."
  • This sounds like it might be a bug but we would need more info to investigate.

    Could you please open browser console (Ctrl + Shift + J or Cmd + Option + J on macOS), load the problematic library, take a screenshot with browser console visible, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox), and provide a link here? You can also email to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if that's easier.
  • Thank you for sending over the screenshot. Indeed this is a bug in the new web library, thi particular issue seems to be related to the actual name of the group, we're working on a fix.
