trouble to add item to Zotero from Proquest databases

Hello, we have problem here with all Proquest databases:

The debug output suggests that you don't have a proxy set up that covers this site, so Zotero doesn't recognize this as ProQuest. Check the Proxies tab of the Zotero Connector preferences to see what's listed there.

Generally, when you log into a site through your university proxy, Zotero should prompt you to remember the proxy.

I removed the proxy from the list and let Zotero automatically detect the proxy settings again.
But it's still the same, it`s working with databases like HeinOnline and others but not with Proquest

If you click on the proxy in the Configured Proxies section, do you see search.proquest.com listed under Hostnames in the bottom section?

Loading the page means loading the page…I'm not really sure how else to describe it. Not saving. You provided this above. We just need the same thing again.

But also, what are your proxy settings in the preferences?

You're just not providing a Debug ID for loading the page. We can't help you if you don't provide that. We don't need a Debug ID for saving, or switching to the tab, or anything else. We need it for actually loading the webpage, so that we can see how Zotero is detecting the page.

Neither. You need to start debug output logging, then immediately load/reload the page and get the webpage icon, and then submit the output.

Hello, bibluc2 is one of my coworker. If you allow me to put my two cents, I tried to solve the problem, but didn't succeeded. When I perform a search in ERIC from ProQuest, Zotero correctly identify the page as a list of results, but when I try to download some of them, I get an error message: "Une erreur s'est produite lors de l'enregistrement de ce document". The translator says: "Save to Zotero (ProQuest)". The URL of this page is: https://search-proquest-com.proxy.bibliotheques.uqam.ca/eric/results/830764F781184D1DPQ/1?accountid=14719
If I open the page of one of the results that is a journal article, Zotero connector download it as a Web page. The translator says "Save to Zotero (Embedded data)". The URL is https://search-proquest-com.proxy.bibliotheques.uqam.ca/eric/docview/62086655/830764F781184D1DPQ/2?accountid=14719
I generated a report following these actions: Report ID: 517208628

@jjrondeau: Thanks. It looks like the proxy detection is actually working properly for both of you, but Zotero still isn't detecting anything to save on ProQuest.

Can you go back to the ProQuest article page (not search results), open the JavaScript Console (View → Developer → JavaScript Console in Chrome), and paste in the following code, and let us know if it says 'true' or 'false'?

Are you running any other Firefox extensions? If so, try disabling them. This really shouldn't be detected as a webpage if that returns true.

Zotero is properly recognizing that this is a ProQuest URL, but it's not detecting the page based on its content. I'm not seeing any reason that should be happening if //div[@class="citationTextWrapper"] exists.

This is just an idea, but are you using the French language version of ProQuest? This should absolutely work, but could you try switching to English and see if that works?
