Synchronization between the API and the Style Repository

edited September 9, 2020
Using the API and the institut-francais-darcheologie-orientale.csl style (recently modified), I found that my queries results were using the old version of this style and not the current one (example : https://api.zotero.org/groups/2516537/items?format=bib&style=institut-francais-darcheologie-orientale).

Is this an error on my part or is there a time period in the synchronization between the API and the Style Repository?

Sorry, it's supposed to update automatically within a few minutes, but that wasn't happening due to a bug. Try now.
  • It works now. Thank you!
  • @dstillman sorry to restart this old discussion but the same problem occur once again with the new version of IFAO styles. I updated them recently but the API is still using the old version while the version on the style repository is the current one.
  • Sorry about that. It does look like the service used by the API stopped updating automatically on style changes about a month ago. We'll have to keep an eye on it to see what's going on, but for now I've manually updated it, so you should see the latest style output now.
  • Everything is working now, thank you for your help
  • @dstillman sorry to restart this old discussion but the same problem occur once again with the new version of zeitschrift-fur-deutsche-philologie styles. The changes got merged in the main branch of the https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles repo 3 days ago but the API is still using the old version while the version on the style repository is the current one.
  • @dstillman the problem seems to be persisting.
  • The api seemed to has been synchronised again and now it seems to have my changes.
