Requesting citation style for Journal of Fish Biology

No such citation style , second time to post this without comment, can anybody assist please? I've been using Zotero for some time and don't wish to return to my old citation manager but it may be the only way for submission to this journal. I've included all the relevant documentation below.

  • I am using the citation style "Journal of Fish Biology" but it does not conform to the Journal's instructions. Please can you advise me if I perhaps can get an updated style for this journal?

    I fixed several issues.
    New style now on the repository: https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=JFB
  • The existing JFB style appears to incorrectly capitalize all of the words in journal titles in the literature cited section. Instructions for authors describe References formatting as follows:

    An online article is cited by its Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which remains valid and allows article tracking even after its allocation to an issue. It has no volume, issue or page numbers.

    Hi,

    Wiley journals typically do not have updated author guidelines, so we go by properly type set papers (that is the .pdfs of papers).

    Looking at https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/jfb.14338 and https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1111/jfb.14363

    I have fixed a bunch of issues. Test the style out and let me know if I missed anything (in a numbered list with titles in a format of "current" vs "wanted" format).

    Right click, save as, install: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/cf7be9f3f8880a85226e4a61322218f83d030d6e/journal-of-fish-biology.csl

    (if a moderator sees this, can we change the title of this thread to Style Request: Journal of Fish Biology? thanks)
  • Thanks for the quick response. In reviewing the updated JFB style, the following issue still appears to persist:

    1. Capitalization of journal article titles in References section;
    "Current" - All words capitalized e.g., "A Comparison of Carbon and Nitrogen Stable Isotope Ratios of Fish Tissues Following Lipid Extractions with Non-Polar and Traditional Chloroform/Methanol Solvent Systems"
    "Wanted" - Only capitalize first word in article title e.g. "A comparison of carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratios of fish tissues following lipid extractions with non-polar and traditional chloroform/methanol solvent systems"

    Thanks!
  • Perfect, it now looks correct. Thanks!
