PDF metadata
In my experience, Zotero is unable to find PDF metadata for approximately 30% of my articles. The problem I am experiencing related to this occurs when I attempt to find metadata for multiple pdf's at one time and the "metadata finder" gets hung up on a file that it cannot find metadata for. Rather than timing out and moving on the the next file, it continues searching for metadata for this article in futility. It would be nice if there was a time out function so I could do a mass-search and walk away from the computer, knowing that some articles will have unsuccessful search results. Rather, I find myself searching for pdf metadata manually, one article at a time.
Alternatively, would it be possible to create a manual skip buttion?

It would be great to have a small dialogue to set up PDF metadata searching, perhaps allowing the user to select whether or not he/she wants to manually confirm metadata for each item, enabling the user to click-through to the approprite metadata/citation for a given PDF, and allowing the creation of a blank entry to which stand-alone attachments or links can be added if the appropriate metadata doesn't exist. Perhaps this could also involve 'putting aside' unsuccessful searches after a time-out, or perhaps simply assigning unsuccessful searches an empty record?
