Change style for "Journal of Microbiology and Biology Education" and "American Microbiology Society"
Hello! Would anyone with more advanced coding skills be able to update the citation method for this journal? Thank you in advance!
Example from most previously published issue:
Rienties B, Tempelaar D, Van den Bossche P, Gijselaers W, Segers M. 2009;The role of academic motivation in computer-supported collaborative learning. Comput Human Behav. 25:1195–206. doi: http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.chb.2009.05.012.
Changes needed: semicolon after year, doi addition to end of citation

We want a correct style here, for everyone. All you'd need to do is click refresh with the correct style, once we fix it (and a fix is needed).
However, it looks like some ASM journals have switched to a style that includes the DOI.
E.g. the journal Clinical and Vaccine Immunology https://cvi.asm.org/content/cdli/24/12/e00268-17.full.pdf
In the meantime, here is the new style. Right click, save as, download the .csl file and install via double click or menu: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/beaba32af675afaba9b9b9260597e616a077a71b/american-society-for-microbiology.csl
Just submitted a ms to Applied and Environmental Microbiology. The assistant editor immediately kicked it back to me because I didn't have doi for citations that don't have page numbers.
@damnation I think if you tweak the style accordingly, we can take it.
This style does ONLY add DOIs to unpublished papers:
