Upgrade StorageInquiry - Insert a cite more than once
I seem to be search engine impaired, I tried to search for this but could not find any suitable answer.
How can I insert a given citation on two different locations of the same document?
Currently I am using the Chicago style as foot notes, with Zotero 5.0.88 and Libre Office 6.4.5.2 on Fedora Linux 32 (if that is relevant).
When trying to insert the same citation for the second time, obviously, the ascending order of the notes inserts the same cite with a different number. I intend to generate a Bibliography at the end of the project, so I guess, a second question would be if the duplicated cite would be treated as a duplicate, and thus not inserted as a bibliography item, or if it will also appear more than once in the generated bibliography?

bwiernikYou are confusing “citations” and “footnotes”. You are citing the item a second time, but the footnote number is going to be new—it would be confusing for a footnote style if it were otherwise. This is different from a numeric style, where numbers appear in text but there are no footnotes, only a bibliography at the end. The citation will be abbreviated as appropriate to Chicago style, and the item will only appear once in the bibliography.
