I am new to Zotero. Tried a few things to check out citations. I'm using AMA style. I have inserted a multiple citation (all good), then added text earlier in the document and another citation. My multiple citation is numbered 1,2 (as I wrote that first). The new, earlier citation is also numbered 1 because its now the first citation in the document. I will be writing a lot more, but I wanted to check that renumbering the citations works but it doesn't. What am I missing? Tried refresh - nothing happens. I tried take off automatically update citations and then refresh, made no difference. I tried making it a different style then back to AMA, no difference. Help please!
