Upgrade StorageBibliography overwrites appendix

I'm in the late stages of writing a thesis and need to include an appendix *after* my bibliography. When I update the bibliography it overwrites the appendix that follows it.
The appendix is written as a separate section in Open Office.
I am using Linux with Open Office. My zotero firefox plugin is 1.5-sync2.2. Not sure of the OO extension version but it was "updated by Ian Laurenson". I am loath to update my zotero configuration, as i've made additions to the MLA style, and when i've tried to update before it has broken all citation links. I don't want to risk it until i have submitted!
Is there a way around this problem in OO?

bichoapologies - but to my relief it was something fixable in my file. Needed to remove the bibliography and re-do some sectioning.
