How to edit all fields of a zotero entry?

Often I add a PDF from from the chrome plugin that doesn't have enough meta data to correctly classify the Item Type. These often tagged with an Item Type of "Attachment".

If I can see from the document that it is a "Report", how can I edit the existing entry to change its item type?

Or do I just have to manually add the item?

    An attachment isn't a full Zotero item. From Retrieve PDF Metadata:
    If Zotero can find a match for the PDF, it will create a full Zotero item with the available data and attach the PDF. If it can't, it will leave the PDF as a standalone attachment, allowing you to add a parent item from the web or by identifier and drag the PDF onto it. If all else fails, you can right-click on the PDF, choose Create Parent Item, and manually enter metadata for the item.
