Import Collection Hierarchy (subcollection structure)

Hello, I am new to Zotero. I have an existing structure that I would like to use in Zotero but I do not want to re-create each subcollection individually.

I have been searching on the discussion forum and google for the capability to import a collection hierarchy from a csv file.

I am not very tech saavy and not familiar with scripting.
I welcome any suggestions.

I don't think there is a way to import a folder hierarchy into Zotero in a way that isn't quite technical I'm afraid.

@CityPrincess: You could try Emiliano's plugin. Some people used it successfully. See here:

It took me a few minutes to figure out how to install it, including the related discussion thread helped me figure it out. This import utility works exactly as I needed it to. I have a very large collection of files that I am using Zotero to help me catalog and re-organize.
