UK Case citations in OSCOLA using Juris-M

edited August 22, 2019
Hi

Does anyone know how to add the neutral citation (ie in UK law, eg [2003] UKHL 40) in front of the law report citation (eg [2004] 1 AC 816) using Juris-M? I believe it should be possible, having seen it mentioned in another discussion, but I can't for the life of me work out how to do it.

So in my example, I want my reference to say

Wilson v Secretary of State for Trade and Industry [2003] UKHL 40, [2004] 1 AC 816.

but at the moment I can only get it to say

Wilson v Secretary of State for Trade and Industry [2004] 1 AC 816.

Any help would be very welcomed!

Thanks a lot

Greg
  • We have good support for this form in Jurism, but some of the syntax for it is fairly new, and the coding patterns need to be clearly documented. I'm working on part of that now, feel free to ping if I don't post back to this thread in a week or so.
  • Many thanks. That's very helpful. I look forward to hearing from you again.
  • Hi, I have exactly the same issue and was wondering if there has been any progress on this since the thread was created?

Many thanks, Juris M is amazing.
  • For anyone who finds this, my (temporary) solution was to enter the entire neutral citation prior to the reporter volume in the same entry box.

    e.g. for Tillman v Egon Zehner Ltd [2019] UKSC 32, [2020] AC 154:
    - Reporter Volume: [2019] UKSC 32, [2020]
    - Reporter: AC
    - First Page: 154
