Add type "exhibition" and "catalogue"
hi - it would be useful to include both Exhibition and Catalogue as types of entries for those of us involved in the visual arts and design.
Catalogues essays are becoming important research outputs and often there are several authors in one catalogue. The reference to the exhibition and dates needs to be included - so journal or magazine entries do not work.
Exhibitions are also publications - albeit a different form from text-based. Information required here includes Curator, Title, Artists, Dates, Location(s).

As for catalogs; what's wrong with a generic "Document"?
Catalogs are cited as books, with exhibit info appended:
Barter, Judith A., ed. Mary Cassatt: Modern Woman. Chicago: Art Institute of Chicago, in association with Harry N. Abrams, 1998. Published in conjunction with the exhibition “Mary Cassatt: Modern Woman” shown at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the National Gallery in Washington, DC, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
Exhibit info can go into the Abstract or Extra for now; in the hierarchical types presumably it will be possible to create a relationship between the catalog item and the exhibit item.
