How to add a comment within a citation?
I often need to enclose something within the parentheses of a citation, like so:
(e.g., Shakuntala, 2008). Whenever I do this, Zotero flags this as a manually-changed citation and underlines it. This creates a series of follow-on problems: either I let Zotero "fix" the citation by deleting my "e.g.," or it stops updating the citation, creating problems when I add new references. How do I fix this?

djross3You can add a prefix or suffix within the citation when you use the add/edit citation popup. Click on the citation itself to get a more detailed dropdown menu where you can add them. These fields are below the page number.
