Only getting "Web page with snapshot" instead of full reference
Hi folks,
I am using Chrome with the Zotero extension, and it is only capturing journal articles as a "web page with snapshot" even though it is a full journal article. I have updated Zotero, and updated the extension in Chrome, and also followed these steps, and rebooted the computer:
Chrome controls (3 dots), More tools, Extensions, Zotero Connector, details
Extension options; Advanced, Translators, Update translators
And rebooted the computer and restarted Zotero, and still the save function is not working. Ideas?
Thank you!
Shaun

I am working my way through the extensive list of self-help items on the page you referred me to (14 lengthy multi-step items!) I have gotten through all these:
Open Zotero before saving;
Restart browser;
Make sure browser is up-to-date;
Check Zotero version;
Sync with Zotero.org
Check for Zotero Connector updates: Chrome controls (3 dots), More tools, Extensions, Zotero Connector, details; Extension options; Advanced, Translators, Update translators.
Make sure that your browser privacy settings are not blocking cookies. Some sites require you to accept third-party cookies in order to save.
Check Zotero for updates (Help/Updates)
On this last item: Zotero is currently "hung" in the "Updating Zotero" phase: there is a green bar and the words "Applying update" have been sitting there for about 15 minutes. Not sure if I should hard-reboot the software, or just let it sit for another 15 minutes. Advice?
Thank you!
Shaun
