We have encountered a similar issue here. There were folders in a group library called 'PBL Circular Economy' containing sources for our documents and now they have disappeared meaning that we will have to manually enter them back in. However, even though we cannot see them in the application, when I enter in a bibliography into a word document it manages to list all the sources we need. Can you help us?
I responded via email, but just to repeat it here, it looks like a handful of collections containing hundreds of items were deleted by someone in the group a couple days ago. If someone in the group hasn't yet synced or has a backup of their Zotero data directory, it would be possible to restore your data.
The citations in the document are likely now orphaned and just using embedded metadata stored in the document.
