There are still a lot of bugs in this beta and it crashes a lot or automatically opens another instance of Zotero. I really hope these bugs can be fixed soon. Thanks for all the efforts!

adomasven: I am using Safari 13.0.3, Word for Mac 16.32 and Zotero 5.0.81-beta.4+88c4cd1a0. When in my Word document, having Zotero open at the same time, I want to insert a citation, a second instance of Zotero opens up automatically, and I get a message I can't have 2 copies open at the same time.

Is this when pressing a button in the integration like Add/Edit Citation? Could you try reinstalling the document plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors, then restart Word and try again?
