Extra space in APA References list

Hello,

I have seen other posts about this issue but did not find a solution. I'm using Word with the Zotero Connector, Windows and Mac have the same issue. Everything is on the most up to date version.
I'm using APA 6th Edition formatting.
In the references list there is an extra space when a URL is present. The result is empty space and some lines with a single character.

Here is an example where the "1" is part of the URL but on the following line:

Barrett, P. M. (2019). Disinformation and the 2020 election: How the social media industry
should prepare. Retrieved from
https://issuu.com/nyusterncenterforbusinessandhumanri/docs/nyu_election_2020_report/

I guess I'm not quite following this -- are you saying the space gets added into the URL? That's not something Zotero would do. Could just be Word's linebreak?

Sorry I should have included 2 examples. If you’re looking from a mobile the text may wrap automatically.

Here’s what I get in my references list:
Barrett, P. M. (2019). Disinformation and the 2020 election: How the social media industry
should prepare. Retrieved from

Here’s how it should be:
Barrett, P. M. (2019). Disinformation and the 2020 election: How the social media industry
should prepare. Retrieved from https://issuu.com/nyusterncenterforbusinessandhumanri/docs/
nyu_election_2020_report/1

Note the second example uses 3 lines while the first used 4 lines with the 4th line only for the “1”.

right, but that's just how Word handles linebreaks with URLs; this is unrelated to Zotero.
