no copying/uploading

all of a sudden my Zotero account does not copy any pdfs, i have refreshed etc etc but when i drag and drop the doc from my pc onto my Zotero library it has stopped copying...storagewise i'm ok too. Any helper?

We'd want a debug ID for dragging a PDF to "My Library" in Zotero. https://www.zotero.org/support/debug_output#zotero

And this still happens after you restart Zotero and/or your computer? If so, can you provide a Debug ID for a Zotero startup through a drag attempt that fails, using the "Restart with Logging Enabled…" option?

Also, could you clarify exactly what happens when you try to do this?

not sure your sequence of instructions are correct...so here what i did:

went through the 'Restart with...'
tried to see if it copied the pdfs...it didn't
went on help and got this debug ID: D697655563

?

Does Store Copy of File in the New Item (green plus) menu still work? It's only drag and drop from the filesystem that doesn't work?

If so, one cause of this is if Zotero is for some reason set to run as administrator:

hi, yep that green button works, drag and drop doesn't.
