Cannot load any stles

I have no styles loaded and can't seem to load any. Right now all I need is the styles associated with APA PUblication Manual Sixth Edition. I have tried all the suggestions in the following URL

    That's quite strange, but try deleting the 'styles' directory in your Zotero data directory and restarting Zotero.

    Somehow the styles are there now. I don't know if it is because on a whim I just now clicked on the Check for Updated Translators and Styles in the Advanced > General tab or what. That step was not in the online instructions so not sure. Anyway they are there now. Will keep your advice in mind if it happens again. Thanks for posting.
