Report ID: 2009487842 JSON Error: Syntax error, malformed JSON during synchronization
Hi,
I just wanted to share with you a description of the process leading to the error meassage I just encountered in Zotero:
During a (first time) cloud (Zotero Lab) synchronization of a large Zotero library (26000 entries). I got the following error message: 'JSON Errot: Syntax error, malformed JSON'. I reported the error and got a report ID: 2009487842.
I was not busy in Zotero itself, but the program was open and synchronizing.
After clicking the sync-button again, Zotero continues with the sync and seems not to encounter this error again; instead I get some other 'too long abstract' error messages, that are easy to solve.
Kind regards,
Aldert

dstillman Zotero TeamThanks — very large entries can currently fail with that sync error, but as you saw they generally resolve themselves and show a proper error warning you about the overly large entries.
