According to the Instructions for Authors (accessible from https://www.springer.com/earth+sciences+and+geography/geophysics/journal/382), the citation is now using "https://doi.org/" instead of "doi:"

This style is linked to the parent style [springer-basic-author-date].

There is also an issue with the order of publications by the same author(s).
According to the page linked above, "Publications of exactly the same author(s) must be ordered chronologically." This works when the publications are cited together:

(Author 1931, 1943, 1948)

Author BC (1931) Title. J. Abbr Vol:x–y. doi:
Author BC (1943) Title. J. Abbr Vol:x–y. doi:
Author BC (1948) Title. J. Abbr Vol:x–y. doi:

But fails with separated citations:
