I think it would be nice if the search function was a bit more forgiving of accents and other modifications of the basic character set.

For example, searching for 'sbarbaro' should show results by the author 'Sbárbaro'.
Or 'perez' for 'pérez'

You would be surprised how many duplicates I have of some authors papers because I assumed I did't have it (even though I was sure I had uploaded it before)...

I realize I should get better at authors names and learn how to type accents but this would be a time-saving feature.
