Search results disclosure triangles

When I do a simple library search (using search field above the library) the results have some items with the disclosure triangle closed and many more with it open. The open ones make it difficult to scan through the titles and authors to find things you're looking for. I can't find a way to close them all with one action.

Why are some closed and others open, and is there a way to close or open them all?

    The expanded ones have search hits in one of their notes/attachments. You can collapse all items in view by using the - key on your keyboard.

    Thanks, that makes sense, and I see + will open them all up. Good to know.

    By the way, that search is really fast, even on my 9-yr old laptop!
