incomplete reference title in text citation
Hello, I've just added a citation via the LibreOffice plugin and the name is incomplete.
The complete title is :
6.1 : black body radiation
however it is displayed as:
("6.1", 2016)
This is the only occurrence I've encounter. Other citation are presented with the full title.
Is it a bug or just the way zotero handle a title beginning with numbers et double dot?
I'd rather not change the metadata of the document. I'm not sure it is something authorized by my university.
Thanks in advance!

zurpherI guess a ":" signals to Zotero that whatever follows must be the subtitle.
-
carter7gindenvI tried removing it and it still only shows 6.1. Maybe starting with a number is not good either`?

zurpheredited July 30, 2019Weird. Let's wait to hear what the Zotero experts can say on this matter.

fbennettedited July 30, 2019What is entered in the Short Title field?

DWL-SDCATo save back and forth time delays and for this situation only, enter "6.1 : black body radiation" without the quotes in both the title and the short title fields. That fixes the truncation for me with the 2 styles I tested that use subsequent short titles.

carter7gindenvThat's it! it was so simple! thanks a lot for your fast replies!

fbennettYou can also just remove any value from the Short Title field.
