Zotero article backup

Hello, if I am going to reinstall Windows, which will cause me to lose my desktop Zotero. If I have everything synced and backed up to my online profile, will Zotero automatically download all of my articles and whatnot after I reinstall Zotero on the computer and log in? Thank you.

    The "Refresh Windows" option in Windows Reset (the one that says your files will not be affected) should not impact your Zotero files. The reset option that says you will lose your files will erase your Zotero data along with everything else.

    The most foolproof way to backup your Zotero library is to make a backup copy of your Zotero data folder (http://zotero.org/support/zotero_data). Sync will sync down your data to your computer after reinstall, but backing up the folder will be faster and avoid any potential problems if a file hadn't synced.
