unable to repair database

hi, I've been unable to repair my database - says it cannot read from the sqlite file. Please help, this is preventing me from syncing.

    I cannot even save the sqlite file - I get this:

    The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “zotero.sqlite” can’t be read or written.
    (Error code -36)

    How can I tell what is wrong with the sqlite file and/or fix it? it is clearly that

    That's a more serious error from macOS — not from Zotero — that likely means the file is truly damaged on disk. That's a lower level of damage than DB corruption. The DB Repair Tool doesn't even come into play until you're able to handle the file normally in Finder.

    Your best bet is to try restoring from one of the last automatic backups in that folder.

    One more thing: is this on your local hard drive or on a network drive? This sort of thing is more likely on a network drive.
