i am trying to open a document in google docs but it loses all zotero citations. How to open it with zotero citations???

You can't currently move Word documents with active citations to googled docs (or vice versa). Planned, though.

@vatsalortho2015: If you're comfortable running beta software, this feature is now available for testing in the latest Zotero beta. See Moving Zotero Citations Between Word Processors.

Otherwise, it will be available in Zotero 5.0.67 soon.
