Upgrade StorageError trying to set up Sync, invalid security certificate
I downloaded Zotero on a work computer about 1 month ago. They day I downloaded it, it worked perfectly and synced to my account (the articles are available in the online library. When I tried to reopen Zotero a few weeks later to add more, the program appears like it was never set up. When I try to set up syncing, I get the following error message:
"api.zotero.org uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
An additional root certificate may need to be imported.
Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER"
I also get an error when trying to send the error report to the developers.
I don't know if this an issues with Zotero, or an issue with the administrative access I have on my computer. The IT at my hospital asked that I contact Zotero first to troubleshoot.
