using zotero in word- not showing up in word program

hello, I am trying to use zotero in word and have gone through all the different FAQs and tried finding "cite" in the zotero stand alone app and tried searching in word for global plug ins but it is not working. I use the latest windows software and word is also updated and just downloaded zotero yesterday.

    There's a Cite pane in the Zotero preferences, though the plugin should be installed into Word automatically.

    What do you mean by that?

    See Zotero Toolbar Doesn't Appear, and if you're still having trouble let us know exactly what you tried and what happened at each step, as well as the exact version of Word you're using.

    It has been fixed, I restarted everything and reinstalled the Word plug-in. Thank you dstillman
