Is it possible to use a single "community account" to access a shared library?

Hello,

I’m preparing a library to share with about 30 colleagues. Is it possible to create a single account for all of them to access the library (a community account/password they all can use), or do they all have to create their own account on Zotero ?

Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
  • It's possible, but since accounts are free, it wouldn't be substantially different from each having their own account, and it would give you more opportunity to manage access (e.g. when people leave the group)
  • Thanks for your answer. I thought about this option to make access to the library easier for my colleagues, since some of them may not be willing to create an account (for questions of time or whatever).

  • I would recommend you make a group library—you can initiate making accounts for your colleagues by inviting them to join the group using their email addresses. They will receive an email inviting them to make an account and join the group.
